Primary Health Centre at Hard-Panzoo Village of Khansahib Sub Division lacks staff, basic facilities

Khansahib,23 April: The residents of central Kashmir Hard-Panzoo Village complained that Primary Health Centre (PHC) located in their village lacks staff and basic facilities as they are being forced to visit other places for medical treatment.
Locals here alleged about non availability of  staff at local health center due to which they said they are suffering immensely. The Health center is running from years with heavy population around 10,000. The health centre has been rendered useless. On other resident said that our hospital is well equipped like ECG,X-Ray, but unfortunately staff members are not working good and  almost found them absent from their duties. Lady patient lamented the hospital lacks basic facilities including Lady Doctor and  cleanliness in the hospital, she said there is dreath of cleanliness in the hospital and only there is
two toilets in the hospital which are in the pathetic conditions and the rooms are not cleaned properly. She also said that when we get medical emergency at odd hours, we are forced to shift patients to the Beerwah or Khansahib Hospital. For that purpose, we need lady doctor she added that their repeated demonstrations were virtually put into bins by the higher authorities and thousands of people residing in this huge belt are continuously facing sever problems. A gynecologist is the need of the hour here, our women folk face too many problems in reaching the district hospital, but unfortunately that too has no facilities and huge rush, after all that a doctor for the purpose should be deputed very soon for the hospital so that women folk wouldn’t suffer any more. During the visit of the hospital Near about more than five employees fond absent  namely Bilkees Akhter, Mudasira Akhter from immunization Mumtaza from  X-Ray Tabasum  from labour room ward and safai walla Bashir Ahmad sheikh
 according to locals, beacuse of the habitual absence of the staff. Locals added that two patients have died in the past after they were not treated at the facility  they said that some employees are performing their duties on their mood and they appeal to the higher authorities  that strict action should be taken against the absent employees within no time, “they added.”
