PHE fails to provide tap water to harinar and Daslipora Pattan in last Twenty years
In the modern computer world where government is taking about digital India, there are still some area where people don’t meet the basic needs of life and die due to the Lackness of such basic facilities.
Whereas same is the case with two villages Harinara and Duslipora of Pattan area in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district, who do not have the drinking water facility in their villages and are waiting for last twenty years
Whereas the said two villages where falling under the PHE division Sopore for last Twenty years, and now with PHE Baramulla
Whereas both the divisions failed to provide the drinking water to the poor villagers in last Twenty years
When the correspondent talked to AEE PHE Pattan Mr Toiab, the said officer admited the failure of department, and said one tanker of drinking water is being supplied to the two villages with hundreds of families which do not fulfill their thirst
Meanwhile the villagers said the dangerous diseases have spread in the area due to lake of proper water facility, we request to honurable Governor of the State to look into the metter for the safety of thousands of lives, the villagers added.
Whereas the villages are a few kilometers away from Muzaffarbad Srinagar highway and the most of villages in this area are facing the same problems due to the failure of PHE department
Whereas many water Reservoirs and filtration plants were constructed by the department after spending millions of rupees, but all in vain
