Srinagar : Kashmiri Sikh leader Indumeet Singh on thrusday
expressed grief over the death of 23-year old youth who died in SKIMS Soura late Wednesday night after battling for life for three days.
Conveying his sympathies to the bereaved family, Indumeet Singh said,”It is heart rending to learn about death of 23-year old youth . I pray for peace to the soul and also pray to Almighty to give courage to the families of victims to bear the loss”.
“Security forces should stop to uses of weapons and deal with protesters in such a way to avoid such casualties,” he said.
“I apeals to the people of Kashmir to maintain peace and harmony,” Indumeet Singh said.
A 23-year-old youth, injured in security forces action on Monday (May 13) in Chanabal area of Pattan in Baramulla district of north Kashmir, succumbed to his wounds at SKIMS hospital Soura.
