DDC visits DH, GDC to take stock of progress of dev works

Directs concerned agencies to gear up the pace of work

KULGAM, MAY, 08:  District Development Commissioner Kulgam Dr Shamim Ahmad wani today visited district hospital kulgam to take stock of various ongoing developmental works being executed by Jammu and Kashmir Projects Construction Corporation (JKPCC) and police housing corporation (PHC).
He was acompanied by CPO kulgam and other District officers

During his visit, DDC inspected the progress of work on Maternity and child care hospital which is being executed by Police Housing Corporation.

On the occasion DDC was informed by the concerned that work on 50 bedded MCH building is almost complete with a project cost of Rs 796 lacs.

On the occasion CMO and Medical suprident apprised DDC about some additional requirements in MCH building which DDC discussed with the concerned executing agency on the spot.

DDC also inspected the ongoing work of IPD block of the district hospital and emphasised on JKPCC to expedite the pace of work.  He impressed upon the executing agency to ensure that quality of works is not compromised.

 

Later he visited Government degree college kulgam to take stock of developmental works in the college. The DDC inspected the academic block which is being executed by R&B.  on the occasion the concerned informed the DDC that the the work is completed with a project cost of 4.51 crores with only minor works pending .

The DDC directs the concerned to complete the pending works during the summer vacation in the college on war footing basis.

Principal Degree college kulgam, professors and other staff was also present on the occasion.
