Army conducted Ex Servicemen pension Adalat at Mendhar

MENDHAR  Indian Army conducted Pension Adalat for their Ex-servicemen on  14 November 2018 at Mendhar. The grievances and queries of Ex-servicemen, Veer Naries and Widows were addressed by Army persons. To make the event successful and meaningful five officials of Defence Pension Disbursing Office, Rajouri and Welfare Officer from Zila Sainik Board Poonch were made available during the event. These officials along with Army personnel provide required assistance in documentation of Ex Servicemen.
248 persons including Ex-servicemen, Veer Naries, Widows and their families from various villages of Mendhar were benefitted by this camp.  Welfare of Ex-servicemen is always a forefront agenda of Indian Army. Indian Army conducts monthly meets and pension Adalats for it’s Ex Servicemen on regular basis.
The Ex-serviceman praised the Army for arranging the camp with officials of Defence Pension Disbursing Office and Zila Sainik Board at Mendhar and stated that such camps are beneficial as aged and infirm cannot travel long distance for their documentation to Rajouri and Poonch.
